Parallel structure..

Merupakan penggunaan beberapa  kata untuk menunjukkan bahwa kata tersebut  memiliki nilai yang setara baik itu merupakan kata kerja, kata sifat, kata benda dll. Dapat terjadi dalam level kata, kalimat atau clausa

Adapun contoh dari parallel structure adalah..

The Boy is handsome, diligent, smart, and rich

Kata yang digarisbawahi dari kalimat di atas memiliki nilai yang sama yakni sama-sama merupakan kata sifat.

Untuk kalimat yang memiliki clause,maka semua kalimatnya harus memakai clause.

Dalam beberapa kasus parallel structure ada kalimat yang memiliki structure

Not only... but also...

Both... and....

Neither... nor....

Either... or...
